Ethnology in Slavonia
Osijek is a city that proudly accents its traditions and customs of the people who were held 'till today. During the major celebrations and the significant dates, regularly are worn folk costumes and can be heard sounds of "tamburica". Slavonian costumes are famous for their rich embroidery, and each of them has a special story which is told for centuries. Some of the costumes are even embroidered with gold, which is another folk art from the village women, who diligently keep the wealth of Slavonia.
The parish church of Sv. Peter and Paul
It was built from the 1894 until the 1898, according to the plans of the German and Viennese architect, on the initiative's of most famous Osijek's Bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer. It was built in neo-Gothic style, with brick façade and even three million of them, with a high tower. During the Liberation War a few times was directly hit so it followed a long-term reconstruction.

Museum of Slavonia Osijek
It was founded in 1877 when Francis Sedlakovic, donated a large number of preserved antiquities, coins and other important collections. Followed by other donors who have expanded museum, and today he is one of the oldest and most important museums in Croatia. There are several departments such as: the archaeological, ethnographic, numismatic, historical and natural science, and series of workshops for the restoration and other needs of the museum.
Kugin Monument
Kugin votive monument was built in the 18th century by the widow of one of the Osijek's Generals who died in the plague epidemic in Osijek in 1728. It is a monument of the Holy Trinity with Saints: St. Sebastion, St. Roch, St. Rosalia and St. Catharine.
